Pucci creative director Peter Dundas wouldn’t rule out collaborating with a department store on a low-cost line.
Since the success of fashion house Missoni’s Target collaboration, fashionistas have been desperate to know which other designers will be following suite.
Dundas has revealed to website styleite that although collaborations aren’t at the forefront of his mind right now, one could well happen eventually.

“You know, right now it’s just not something I’m considering, simply because we’re in an expansion phase ourselves. For me it’s very important to have control over that, but who knows in the future,” he explained.
Back in September demand for the limited edition Missoni line at the US department store caused its site to crash, as fashion fans sought to get their hands on many of the items priced at under $50.
Jason Wu will be the next designer to partner with Target. The Taiwanese American creator’s collection will be available in stores and online as of February 5, 2012.
Earlier this week Margherita Missoni revealed that despite the overwhelming success of the Target collaboration, the next Missoni partnership could be with US department store Macy’s.
“We have a lot of options because everyone is interested, but it has to be something that touches different categories….
The fact that you can put a zigzag on anything was part of the success at Target. People who wouldn’t wear a top would have a glass or a blanket.
“Maybe it’s a partnership with Macy’s in the US and someone else in Europe,” she told The Los Angeles Times.
